Story of the Week:
Matt Kemp gets traded to the Padres for Yasmani Grandal. Also involved in the trade was Dodgers catcher Tim Federowicz and two prospects from the Padres. The Dodgers, ever since building a new front office, have been putting out serious rumors about trading one of its outfielders, but the question was; which one? So during the Winter Meetings in San Diego, Friedman ironically trades Kemp to the hostess, the Padres. After the stellar come-back season Kemp had, this trade came to a shock as many fans will be angry, as the Dodgers barely received anything in return, but the one good thing is that the Padres agreed to eat $77 million of his contract. Matt Kemp will be missed, but hopefully LA can win without him.
