Chicago Cubs (92-70) vs Los Angeles Dodgers (104-58)
Cubs key to winning: Rizzo and Bryant can’t carry this team alone on offense and expect to keep up with the Dodgers lineup. Others are going to need to step up. Heyward is going to need to play more often in this series, as big defensive plays for the Cubs are going to help cut down the Dodgers’ offense. Dave Roberts has done a great job with LA, but Joe Maddon is far and away the better manager; leverage that.
Dodgers key to winning: With Seager out for the entirety of the series, Roberts is going to need to pull some tricks out of the hat. Now with a 7-game series instead of a 5-game series, Alex Wood could be a secret weapon later in the series. As always, Dodgers need to leverage off of home field advantage.
