The biggest transaction made by the Marlins this offseason was locking Dee Gordon up for the next 5 years on a $50 million deal. But, after the back to back brilliant years the second baseman just recorded, $50 million is quite a bargain. Miggy, Verlander May be Passing Torch to Upton Shortely

The Tigers may have been interested in Justin Upton for some time now, but they certainly were not favorites, nevertheless mentioned a lot when the free agent’s name came up in discussions.
