2015 Fall Classic Preview

It has been just about 29 years since either the Mets or KC won the World Series. The last Series appearance for NY was in 2000 when the Bronx Bombers in 6 games beat them; and the last appearance for the Royals was in 1985 when they defeated the Cardinals in 7. So, this Fall Classic will be a battle of very hungry teams. Back in the mid-late 80’s, each of these clubs were competitive every year, but since, it’s been a struggle to get back to the top. Two Worst AL Managers Get to Keep Their Jobs

Over the past few seasons there have been many firings of long time managers and hiring of new generation of coaches. Ron Gardenhire has been replaced by Paul Molitor, Joe Maddon has moved on as Kevin Cash made his debut as Rays manager, Dusty Baker has been out of the game for a couple years, and so on. However, not every new captain of the ship works out. Reaches 300 K’s; Is Clayton Kershaw Human?

For the last 5 seasons Clayton Kershaw has no doubt been the best pitcher in the game, however, this season, he reached a level beyond god-like. Kershaw has become the first pitcher in 13 years to reach 300 strikeouts during one season.
