2017 NL Playoffs
Wild Card Game 4-1 Red Birds over the Nats at Busch Stadium. Adam Wainwright will be pegged for the start and dominate. LDS 3-2 Cubbies over the Cards with Chicago having home field advantage. In the end the Cubbies dominant bullpen will finish off their arch rival. 3-2 Dodgers over the Mets with LA having home field advantage. This Dodger series win will be contingent on health of LA’s starting rotation, as it is just as good as Mets’. Playing game 5 at Dodger Stadium will be the difference. 2017 AL Playoff Predictions
Wild Card Game 5-4 Yankees defeat Seattle Mariner at Safeco Field. LDS 3-0 Indians sweep Yankees. Aside from Tanaka, the Yankees can’t match up to the Tribe’s rotation. Yankees won’t be able to keep up with Indians offense, therefore not having lead going to late innings, where the Yankees are strongest. 3-2 Astros over the Jays (home field advantage). The Jays no longer have Encarnacion, while the Astros have 3 new shiny bats in Josh Reddick, Carlos Beltran and Brian McCann. The only reason for a game 5 is due to better pitching by the Jays. MVP: Kyle Schwarber. One of few players to ever be compared to Babe Ruth. He is now fully healthy and is batting atop the lineup. He only needs to stay healthy. Rookie of the Year: Hunter Renfroe. PCL MVP in 2016. Only player to every hit a home run atop the Metal Supply Co. building at Petco Park. He is sure to be the leader of the Padres lineup.
