The 1950’s in New York
Fun Fact of the Day: Hall of Fame center fielders Duke Snider, Willie Mays, and Mickey Mantle were all playing in New York during the 1950’s. Duke played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Willie played for the New York Giants, and Mickey Mantle played for the Yankees. Ebbets Field, Yankee Stadium, and the Polo Grounds were making riches every year in the 1950’s as each team was full of talent with the three CF’s, all in their prime, leading the charge.
