Kipnis Makes Indians History

Fun Fact of the Day:

In the month of May, Jason Kipnis became the first player in franchise history to have 50+ hits in the month of May. He reached base more than 50% of the time this past month hitting .429 with 16 walks, 15 doubles, and 4 homers. With him at the top of the Tribe’s lineup now, the team has been on a miniature hot streak. After his stellar month, he joins the likes of Roberto Alomar, Shoeless Joe Jackson, and Pat Tabler, who have all compiled historical months of their own. Kipnis, after a down 2014 season, has finally come back into his own, now batting .340 on the season.
