Wild Card Predictions/Breakdown

ALWC

With both starting pitchers (Chris Tillman and Marcus Stroman) not pitching their best right now, both might give up at least 3 runs, as both offenses are lethal. It will come down to a battle of the bullpens.

O’s: Need to score at least 4 runs either be at down by no more than 2 runs going into the 7th inning or up by at least 1 run, as they have one of the best bullpens in the league.

Jays: Need to get out in front by running up the score, then the crowd should do the rest.

5-3 O’s

The pitching matchup that might be so good that it makes fans forget about the historical A’s vs KC Wild Card game. Whoever pitches better, that team will win.

Mets: Going to need to score 4+ runs and be ahead going into the 7th inning. Lefties are batting .262 against Syndergaard and the Giants have 5 lefties in the lineup.

Giants: If the offense can manage to get 2 or 3 runs off of Syndergaard and Mad-Bum can keep fooling left handed hitters and continuing his playoff brilliance, then the bullpen should take care of the rest if needed.

4-2 Giants
