According to a Major League source telling MLB.com’s Jesse Sanchez early Sunday morning, Melky Cabrera has agreed to a 3-year deal with the White Sox worth between $42-43.5 million; which is pending a physical. Its not exactly as official as other deals this offseason though, since Melky has a history with performance enhancing drugs. After the Red Sox trade for Porcello, they add more needed depth to the rotation as they pick up Wade Miley from the Diamondbacks. This deal sent Wade Miley to Boston in exchange for Rubby De La Rosa, Allen Webster, and minor leaguer Raymel Flores, who all heading to Arizona. During the 2013 offseason, Ervin Santana was seeking out a contract for multiple years, and a substantial amount of money.
