At the Winter Meetings back in December, the new-look Dodger front office headed by Andrew Friedman went crazy with trades parting with Kemp and Gordon among others; and now they are at it again. According to multiple sources the Dodgers have agreed to a three-way trade with the Marlins and Braves that will send starters Mat Latos (Miami) and Alex Wood (Braves) to the Dodgers along with braves reliever Jim Johnson plus Miami 1B Michael Morse. Royals Need to Win Now to Re-Sign Cueto

Kansas City was the first team to make a huge splash with the trade deadline approaching by acquiring Johnny Cueto from the Reds. The Royals have always been a small market team, so this move took the baseball world by shock and ah, as they were already one of the favorites to bring home the crown in October. However, with Ventura not living up to expectations and Jason Vargas going down for the year, this acquisition was sneaky and smart. Rockies Jumped the Gun too Soon on Tulo

Late last night the Colorado Rockies and Toronto Blue Jays agreed on a deal that sent Troy Tulowitzki and Latroy Hawkins to the Jays in exchange for Jose Reyes and a trio of right-handed pitching prospects (doesn’t mean much considering the Jays are lakcing pitching), but the players involved in the deal is what made it a shocking deal. Citi Field vs Yankee Stadium

New York City is home to two storied baseball franchises, who both moved into their new state of the art venues in the beginning of the 2009 season. Since, both stadiums have received much praise, as the new venues have joined the MLB’s family of modernized stadiums. Just as before, both stadiums are on opposite sides of New York, however they both offer different styles and vibes.
